The German Shepherd dog is a dog very resistant and enduring, able to resist to the
worst weathers.
Thanks to its tightened hairs and to its undercoat which act as an impermeable.
However do not exaggerate either, by great cold, strong rain, high wind do not hesitate
to put to put it at the shelter. |

Its hairs structure (tightened and the important undercoat) and its thick skin permit to the german shepherd dog to resist
better than other dogs to the worst weathers.
Anyway some dogs like the Saint Bernard have a better resistance, but the german
shepherd's one is not bad at all.
It can run long time under the snow, the rain, high wind with no problem.Even during
the hottest weathers it can resist under the sun, but this exercise is more difficult to
it, as a cold countries' dog, so don't forget to keep it in the shade during the hot
summer days, and don't forget lots of fresh water.
Observe it, the dog will show you when it needs to be put at the shelter. |
